ABOUT

Laud Words is a new web app for release in four Asia-Pac markets (Australia, China, Japan and South Korea) in 2020.

The app will provide a place for users to leave positive messages about a team-mate or friend and the logo needs to portray this concept of positive words about someone.

Being asked for a simple and easily recognisable design, I came up with the idea of a paper plane as symbol of message being sent and ready to be received, and the "trail" in the sky creating a heart.

Being a startup and not having specific colours in mind, I proposed a dark orange, symbol of energy, warmth and cheerfulness, but also to remind of the Far East.
