In 2019, we were commissioned by Blue Caribou Productions to create a short animated video for Omnia (NW). Omnia is a UK-based global systems solution provider focused on delivering high-quality customer experiences throughout the entire process. This particular animation was used to highlight the benefits of implementing Omnia's wireless technology within both SME and large-scale businesses.

The animation needed to be clear and engaging whilst containing accurate visual information to support the voiceover. One of the most important visual elements of this project was the designs for the wireless products themselves.

The design style for this project was created in line with Omnia's existing brand guidelines, which included a font and clean, graphical tone. Based on Omnia's products, we created a colour palette to use throughout the animation. We decided to use blues to represent tech and orange/green as the colours for standout visual elements.

The characters were simplistic but varied in style, representing the diversity of staff members and users of Omnia's products. As part of the design work, we also vectorised the client's logo (converted the image to editable, graphic shapes) to ensure that the visuals remained crisp, recognisable and more easily animated.
