Inspired by the travels of some of Britain's greatest adventurers the Plant Hunters collection depicts some of the flora these intrepid adventurers introduced to Great Britain.

In many cases the plants included are now ubiquitous in our modern landscapes but at the time of their discovery they were rare and exciting new specimens.

The work has a style alluding to the hugely popular natural history paintings of the time, revealing wildlife and artifacts with which the plant hunters shared a connection to further the sense of the exotic.

The original paintings have been utilised to decorate scarfs, ceramics and produced as limited edition prints.​
