In my final year of Alevel I was required to produce my own music video. This meant that I had to research all codes and conventions of the genre of the song and also plan the locations I wanted my video film in. Once researching I started to film the music video making sure I had a variety of different cinematography techniques and various different shots to fit in with the genre of the music video. Once I had filmed the footage i then began to edit the video on IMovie ( A piece of software on a Mac Book). I used many different tools to help edit the music video such as: Speed of the clips, colours of the clips ( making them brighter to fit in with the genre) and putting text over the video. Overall I really enjoyed creating this project and worked really hard for the video to be the best to its ability.
