About me

I would like to apply for the Junior Designer role at Pringle of Scotland.

I feel I would be well suited to this role as I have had experience working for a high end luxury brand designing their lookbook for autumn/winter 2012. I have also had experience working for a high street retailer as an assistant visual merchandiser. I like to keep up to date with current trends in all aspects of design, keeping record of the things I find inspiring on my blog (charliefacer.tumblr.com).

I am very passionate about both fashion and graphic design. Having had experience working freelance for Photolink creative group, I am good at meeting deadlines, having excellent time management skills as well as good people skills, dealing directly with my client. I work well in a group situation but also as an individual. My time working with YCN required me to work on a group projects as well as an individual project of my own.

Throughout my course, I had experience of working for both print and web projects and am able to design for both platforms. I also have excellent type setting skills and am fully competent in CS5.

I am extremely enthusiastic and would love the opportunity to work for a brand such as Pringle. I love a challenge and am looking for that next step in my career having completed several industry placements.
