About me

I finished a photography degree at UWE in 2011. Following that I moved to start work as a photography assistant in Melbourne before moving in 2013 to work in London. This started with an internship with John Wright and his studio, Motel Studios. Here I learned about running and the organisation of a studio, producing and photography/video assisting. After completing the internship I continued to assist John as well as other photographers. During this time, I gained a good knowledge and confidence of an extensive range of photographic and video equipment, as well as computer software such as CaptureOne, Lightroom and Photoshop and some Final Cut.

After taking a position at Stay Still Productions, I worked filming for behind the scenes on BBC British drama as well as producing shoots. This was a great opportunity to strengthen my organisational skills as well as communication and timekeeping. Spending so much time on the production of the shoots, organising travel and conversing with the other producers and crew members, really opened my eyes to how much I enjoy this role.

In the last two years, I have been working freelance for Brandbank, a company specialising in food and product photography. Here I was working alone keeping up to date with deadlines and work loads. I also worked alongside others in the studio and the commercial team, to insure the clients were getting exactly what they asked for, and to a high standard. Part of my job was also supporting the international team. This meant I was sent to various countries including France and Netherlands to work along side their studios. More recently I have been assisting project managers setting up in America helping with new projects with new clients including Walmart as well as working as a photographer in each one. This I enjoyed immensely, being such an integral part to a project, keeping on top of multiple projects.

Alongside Brandbank I have been working as a producer, photographer and videographer for myself and Neon Peach, a small production company I started with my brother.

Since moving back to London I have been exploring more freelance production. I have worked for Rosco Production as a production coordinator and on set producer. Whilst coordinating I liaised with other crew members and talent agencies to make and keep everyone up to date with progress of the shoot. On set I kept on top of timing and making sure everyone was happy and getting the most from the shoot.
