Brief: Design a book cover for the front back and spine of a science fiction crime thriller novel.

Execution: The boat in the storm on the cover is a reference to an occurence within the story, and the colours of the storm represent the lurid, unreal aspects of the plot. The setting is a high tech near future in which virtual reality has become so real that it is hard to tell the difference. The technical aspect is represented by the geometric pattern overlay giving the impression of something synthetic.
