Watching films and TV shows from the past can benefit people with Alzheimer’s by acting as a memory aid, so on World Alzheimer’s day we released a bespoke ‘Old Favourites’ collection on All 4, made up of shows from the ‘80s and ‘90s. We also broadcasted Channel 4’s original 1982 Lambie-Nairn idents and had continuity announcers from ‘The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes’.
