Chandu is a creative explorer with the analytical precision of a strategist and the real-world acumen of a seasoned marketer. Over the past 25 years his work in advertising has garnered recognition from prestigious platforms like D&AD, Cannes, New York Festival, The One Show, Clio, Spikes, AdFest, Communication Arts, Effie, AD Stars, Award Awards, The Work, and Campaign Brief's Agency of the Year rankings. Ranked among the top 10 creative minds in Vietnam by Campaign Brief in 2023, Chandu has left an indelible mark on the industry.
He has served on numerous juries, including the Cannes Lions, New York Festival, Effie, Applied Arts, MMA Vietnam, Cannes Young Lions (Vietnam/Sri Lanka), Young Lotus Sri Lanka, Hakuhodo Global Council and Leo Burnett Global GPC. Over the past ten years, his contributions were pivotal in securing three Agency of the Year titles for Southeast Asia for Leo Burnett Vietnam, three Agency of the Year titles for South Asia, and four consecutive Agency of the Year wins at the Effies for MullenLowe. His leadership helped elevate MullenLowe Sri Lanka to 9th in Asia and 36th globally on the effies global index, competing with industry giants.
Chandu's passion for innovation and creativity has propelled him beyond the advertising sphere. As a co-founder of several tech ventures, most notably SD TECH, delivers cutting-edge AI and blockchain solutions to a global clientele through offices in the ., India, and Singapore.
