Concept
A four-part documentary series following an under-15 football team in Melbourne: the players, their families and the club behind them. The brief was to tell the team's story through the people in it, using what they said in their own words.

Execution
I worked from about 188 hours of footage across 47 shoot days, another 20 hours supplied by the club, and photographs spanning 58 years of its history. I went through it player by player, looking for moments where what someone said in an interview matched what happened at training, in a match or at home, and built each episode around those. Club archive went in to place the players' stories within the team's longer history. As creative producer and series editor, I handled story development, writing, the edit, sound, colour and final mastering.

Four connected episodes that follow individual players while carrying the team's journey across the series.
