I was approached by a restaurant owner because none of his stakeholders or partners could decide on a logo for their new restaurant so I took the idea from a katakana font I designed (based on the logotype for Idea magazine by Yusaku Kamakura) and created a roman alphabet to match the katakana incorporated into the logo.
