ABOUT

The overall concept was based on the band's latest album release, True Power. Following months of successive merchandise capsules, this specific line focused on pennants, banners, and skate decks. The client's goals were to represent their album aesthetics (blue hues, fire, lyrical content) in ways that connected to the album, but also allowed for an original product experience with each SKU.

In ideation, I tied imagery to the client's overall previous aesthetic, and used my own original style to create a suite of assets that spanned across the handful of different physical applications. Production consisted of original textured illustrations, combined with typography to create impactful merchandising that stood out, but also felt right at home in their product lineup. The illustrations were created using a specific blend of textured digital brushes and limited color palette were used to assure cohesive visuals across the wide scope of products.

The end result was two pennants, a camp flag, and a banner (finely printed and sewn by Oxford Pennant), and three unique skate decks. The items were distributed directly through the client's global online merch store, and their international tour.
