ABOUT
About a year ago, I went to this amazing event called Trojan Horse was a Unicorn. And like any artist going to a networking event, I was struggling to find a good idea for my business card. As I was trying to figure out the design of my cards, and since I'm an animator, it didn't feel right to display a still image on them as a demonstration of my work. I mean, guys, some frames can be pretty ugly, they work as a whole!
So, I thought about having animated cards. I would use an animation I did about the COVID-19 lockdown (which was still fresh in people's memories) and made each card with a different frame of that same animation. On the reverse side, alongside my contacts, I printed a QR code that led to the full animation of the cards. And the idea was to take a photo of each card given to a person and have that person hold the card for me.
The result was having to explain to strangers why I needed to take a photo of them holding my card. I must admit, that part was awkward at first. However, once people understood the idea, they were all really kind and helpful (thank you all lovely people)!
THU is always such a great experience for me. And this was a way to make it even more special :)
Thank you to all the tribe members that were part of this
