TOUGH LOVE is a series of illustrations exploring the loneliness that often results from trying to live up to the expectations of society, and how these attempts can harm us. These images show how love - whether for the self or for others - can be both enriching and destructive. These illustrations were published in the art magazine Pain Perdu / French Toast, May 2016.
