ABOUT

I was asked by The Big I Am youth magazine to create two backgrounds for their Eco and Art/Craft pages. I decided to go with two distinct styles, as I felt the Eco background should look more natural, and the Craft one more "crafty".

I went for a cutout style for the Craft background, and kept it simplistic and bright, based on some of my favorite art programmes that inspired me as a child.

The leaves are in a more illustrative and soft style, with muted colours to emulate nature, give it a flowing look and to contrast to the day glow colours of the craft background.
