ABOUT
Õnda is a handmade clothing label run by Alexandra Rita, the label focuses on making bags and accessories using only found or recycled fabrics.
The brand needed a design that reflected the ethos and the meaning of the name of the company. Õnda meaning 'wave' in Brazilian was the main visual focus of the branding, however, the second visual stimulant had to reflect the companies relaxed attitude. Both factors were approached with the design of a flexible logo that takes reference from a wave-like shape. The wave within the logo was deliberately designed with a soft curve and short in height, creating a natural feeling logotype.
The pattern and graphic development shown in the posters and pattern boards were all designed with earthy, neutral tones that reflect the recycling element of the companies work.
