OUTCOME
I was an early adopter of the ad-free social network Ello when it launched in March 2014. Ello asked me to recount my experience of the service, so I wrote a short 1,500 word article to be published on the Ello front page after spending 10,000 hours as a regular user.

“Before I start, let me just say that this ain’t gonna be a balanced and well researched piece. Quite the opposite actually. These are my own meandering thoughts and personal experiences (with emphasis on meandering).
