ABOUT
The goal of the project was to create new promotional material for the Cheshire West branch of Catch22 to use in their recruitment services, the details given to me where to create a series that involved personal stories while allowing the public to envision themselves in the role.
For this project I researched into past volunteer stories and events which had shown Catch22 to be an inspiring organisation with desirable volunteers, their competition in the area where similar companies offering volunteer services which included charity and child care groups. I found some really good accounts from past volunteers which inspired me to follow that trail of thought and decided to work my love for illustration into it as well. The visuals I created were silhouettes of figures to allow the image to depict a story but also giving the audience to chance to put themselves in that role.
My work was well recieved by both the staff and the public, they were used throughout the Cheshire West area and inspired more volunteers to step up. I had a detailed explanation and access to the brand guidelines while I worked there ensuring that my work would meet the standard while having it's own personal edge.
