ABOUT

To coincide with the Rio Olympic Games, The Financial Times and Google launched their “Hidden Cities: Rio” campaign – an immersive 360° documentary with reporting and voiceover by the Financial Times Brazilian correspondent Samantha Pearson, exploring the social dynamics and physical landscape of Rio’s favelas.

Working with the team at adam&eveDDB and VR specialists Visualise, KLANG’s Brendan Woithe composed the music to accompany the documentary perfectly capturing the mood of the piece as it moved from location to location exploring a part of Brazil rarely seen by the world’s media.

The content is free to access on the FT website and uses Google Cardboard, giving a full VR experience on mobile.
