Malane Newman is a lifelong professional illustrator and cartoonist and provides her freelance services from a home-based studio to clients all over the world. She is a master with color and eye candy, and has illustrated for a variety of consumer products such as games, children's books, product packaging, magazines, greeting cards, comic books, and many more.

Cartoonist

As a cartoonist, she is versatile and can match many different cartooning styles like Disney, Japanese Anime, Nickelodeon, Hanna Barbera, and many others. She provides new character design services for many clients and offers the copyrights at affordable rates.

Licensed Character Art

She also works with creative directors creating licensed character art for world renowned brands such as Barbie, Popeye, and The Swan Princess.

Illustrator

As a digital illustrator she provides services in photo-realistic illustration. The subject matter has varied from food illustrations, landscapes, portraits, domestic and wild animals, product illustrations, to medical illustrations.

History

Prior to starting her business, Malane Newman was heralded as the "First and Only Female Lead Illustrator" in the history of PS Magazine since its conception in 1959. Additionally, Malane Newman was the Visual Communications Director for Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services company (formerly known as Andersen Consulting) managing their Art Department, artists, and contract artists.

She began Malane Newman Design in 2001 and works freelance with clients remotely throughout the world. She offers services in Graphic Design, Illustration, Cartooning, and Website Design.
