Once upon a time, in a land that looms between the chiffon-thin veil of sleep and wakefulness, where dreams are all but whispers of untold tales, live the fairies and the dreamcatchers.
 
Though their name might imply they are the sweetest of folk, these Dreamcatchers are tricksy and mischievous monsters, whose rainbow of colourful stars intercept and shape shift dreams, re-stitching them with their own little stories. Ever jump awake feeling like you were falling?
Or dreamt you needed the bathroom? That’s the magic of the monsters at play, dancing through your dreams and alighting them with lark.
 
The Peace Fairy, who loves to help her humans drift off into a deep and serene slumber has long since ruled them troublemakers for their interfering ways and has banned them from the Glen. But Trixie, the fairy-in-training who is honing her unique gift for sensing and easing worry in others, can’t help but be drawn to Boo, the little monster who always frowns. Through their budding friendship, she realises the monster’s tricks protect from nightmares and chase dark dreams away. And that their magical mischief is laced with the purity of kindness. They’re good monsters, after all.

Our production team at ProjectWorks London were tasked with creating giant books with our special characters to bring to life the magical story of Christmas at Cath Kidston.
The brief was to create something life-like using completely sustainable materials.
Everything was created using card and paper, expertly engineered and developed in-house.
Miniature bookstand cut out fairies were also produced, which were positioned in key locations around the store.
