About me

Since training and then working as an Interior and Textile Designer, I have recently gone into other areas, where I have been able to use those skills and others. Most recently I was a home consultant for Moghul Interiors, a fabric and soft furnishings company based outside Worcester. My role as a consultant was to go into prospective client's homes to show them the fabric ranges and offer design advice on curtains and blinds to cushions, bed spreads and valances etc.. At these home visits I would take the measurements for the quotations which could be for one room or the whole house. My area was the Cotswold's covering Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire. I have a full driving licence and my own car. The home consultant position required me to work evening and weekends and I am happy and able to continue working those times.

As an Interior Designer I am used to producing plans and elevations mood and sample boards, overseeing all projects from the initial planning, sourcing materials ,builders ,plumbers etc., managing on-site building works through to completion.
