About me

I'm currently employed as an Associate Copywriter for Avon Cosmetics, the world's largest direct selling beauty company. In that time I've been responsible for writing all communication, brochure and website copy. I'll be expected to serve 1 month's notice period.

Before that, I spent 17 months at a motorsport DVD company called Duke. As well as researching, creating, coordinating, subbing and proofing text for direct mail, radio, publishing, adverts and to a large extent, the internet - I spent alot of time writing blurbs for the high turn-over of motorsport programmes they produced, as well as their Christmas catalogue.

I have a degree in Media Studies, where I elected mainly journalism modules, and an NCTJ-recognised Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism, which relied heavily on subbing, feature writing and industry-standard examinations.

I thrive off working in high-pressured environments and I understand the importance of deadlines and meticulous attention to detail.
