I started asking myself what kind of style I wanted the characters to be in, who I wanted them to appeal to and what kind of mood I wanted them to evoke. Then I continued to think about what kind of bodytype would suit every character better, since everyone has different roles in the book. And even though they've got similar outfits to work, I tried to custom the outfits to the needs and culture of each character too, showing through different tools and objects what they work in and with.
