MSc Product Design & Development

Professionally trained in the use of SolidWorks (3D component modelling, assembly and drawings) and CosmosWorks (Linear FEA Analysis).

Currently employed as a product design engineer, specialising in the design and development of plastic, mechanical and chemical anchors for D.I.Y and construction industries. This process includes the use of the latest CAD (SolidWorks) and FEA (Cosmos) software as well as rapid prototyping and soft tooling techniques.

A major achievement of my work has been the successful launch of 3 new products into the market, with a subsequent 4 products to be launched in the first quarter of 2008.
