About me

I am contacting you in response to your advertisement for the position of Architect. My enclosed CV shows that I have a variety of qualifying skills and abilities which are compatible with your set of criteria. I have experience working with the software you require and other graphics packages used for design and presentation work.

I am a dynamic and ambitious architect with years of experience working on various projects and constructions, registered with ARB/RIBA.

I currently have a good work experience place in the UK, working at Galata Studio Ltd Architects in London as an on-going freelance worker. I am now looking for a permanent position.

In Italy, I was involved in an architecture joint venture team wich involved a number of architecture practices. This enabled me to work on several prestigious international projects such as the Intenational Competition for "New integrated station complex in Bologna" with AutonomeForme architetti, Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos and Hla-Henning Larsens Architects . The fifteen enjoyable years which I spent as a member of Palermo City Council's planning department and my job as an assistant professor and as a graphic designer at the University, gave me experience in fulfilling a wide variety of urban projects while honing my attention to detail.

My First Class Honours Degree with a thesis in Architecture Urban Landscape, and MA in "Cultural Events, Heritage and Territory", provided me with broad-ranging skills. My attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems helps to ensure that every project I work on is done accurately.
