This may look a little strange...This was a project i did in my very first year studying graphic design. Our tutor gave us a word and we had to make a 3D model out of any material we could find and then photograph it and then manipulate the photo in photoshop.

My word was FEAR... and i guess my biggest fear would have to be losing my fingers because i wouldn't be able to do what i love anymore and that is design (or at least i would struggle).

I used modelling wax to make 4 fingers and a thumb and attached clear fake nails and made them gory with fake blood, they looked really real actually when i made them. I then pulled out some rusty nails from an old fence in my garden and then arranged them through wax fingers to spell the word fear... I then found an old wooden sewing box lid and placed them inside (to help them stand). I then added a red smokey background in photoshop to add more atmosphere.
