About me

I am a 2012 graduate who has a BA Hons degree in Textiles for Fashion and Interiors. I studied at UCA Farnham where I specialised in hand printed textiles.

My passion is to work within the textile industry focusing on printed textile design. My projects at university included creations for both commercial and one off production where I dyed my fabric, designed my imagery and printed all my designs by hand. I created the final visualisations for my fabric context using photography and Photoshop.

I have gained extensive knowledge in many printing techniques and ways to create textures, including direct screen printing, discharge printing, 3-D Puff binder, flock, crimp and devoré. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques to create unique textiles. I have basic skills in using Illustrator for editing images for screen printing and am proficient in the use of Microsoft word and PowerPoint.

I am a mature, sensible and conscientious person. I am reliable, supportive and adaptable and always open to learning and developing new skills. I work well on my own initiative but I am also a good team player. I am a good time keeper and work in a very organized manner.
