About Carlotta
My name is Carlotta Gasparini, I've studied communication design at Politecnico of Milan. There I began studying interior design and changed for the bachelor in visual communication design. After enrolling I chose audiovisual as specialization, and I chose a video production studio for my internship (). Over there I work on a big advertising campaign between graphic, web, social networks, video and a big strategy. Having a university education I was very prepared to switch in between all the medias and make them work considering a total vision. I got told I'm very good in the part of research to prepare the base to get to the concept and on the final part of visualising and presenting the all project. I like to work on the central part with other people, as I believe richness made done by multiple sides.
One of my last work was about a short documentary on multiculturalism in Milan, we choose to tell the story of a couple made by a chinese lady and this husband, from Bangladesh, to create an empathic relationship with the viewer to get at the end focused about the problems and the goods of multiculturalism. In the class this was a real success. After that we were supposed to make a social spot and we did two video portraits of second generations guys. This was a success too, and in these days we are on one of the major online newspaper in Italy. After that I worked on the design of a multimedia storytelling system for minor airports. After my studies I've been living in Australia for 2 years working as a freelance and travelling. There the work I did was mostly graphic and on the web.
