Sir/ Madam,
It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for 2D Illustrator position. As a prolific artist and concept designer I know my diverse set of skills, qualifications and attitude will make me a valuable asset to the design team. I am well-presented, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for concept art, specialising in concept based areas of visual communication.
My work ranges from sketchy drawn designs that are refined using a variety of mediums such as pen, pencil and ink to full colour digital pieces. A strong ability in freehand and digital drawing I have a lot of experience in orthographic projections as this is my usual practice of designing using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Sketchbook. Specialising in generating concepts and character designs, although this is my preferred method of illustration, I am fully capable of working in many diverse styles and enjoy learning and trying out new techniques, I am more than comfortable working as part of a team or individually.
