ABOUT

Cannes Lions is all about recognising and rewarding creativity but we like to cast our own analytical eye over proceedings again to identify the behaviours that underpin this year's winners - and to reveal how and why the creative connects so effectively with the attitudes of modern consumers.

We established five clear themes from this year's winners - from ideas that put new twists on old classics, to technology that can help us feel more human.

This year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was populated by campaigns looking to eradicate discrimination, raise awareness of global issues and, well, sell products. Canvas8 has identified some of the key behaviours that underpinned the winning messages.

Alongside this study we also published case studies on some of the most interesting winners and investigate further into the Science of Winning.

The analysis and examples were available exclusively to Canvas8 members on the our library - but we produces a SlideShare deck that was shared publicly
