About me

Hi,

I would like to apply for the Design position. I am a Graphic Designer and have been working in the industry for 6 years, during which time I have assumed a variety of roles helping me gain experience in various areas. I have a Higher Diploma from the AAA School of advertising, where I studied for 3 years majoring in Art Direction.

I have a broad skill set and love the diversity of the industry, and always being kept on my toes! I have experience managing a design studio and from this I gained good organizational and multi tasking skills, as well as working to very tight deadlines. For the past year I co-owned a Marketing company, we specialized in publishing high end local School and Estate magazines. I designed all the publications as well as many of the adverts in them, I was also involved in gathering content when needed and helping with as sales - so I gained some well rounded experience.

I enjoy working as part of a team, but am capable of running projects of my own. I am proficient in the the Creative Suite, my strengths in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I have worked on various mediums and am able to take an idea from conception to finished artwork, ready for print. I love designing with an idea in mind, creating smart, attractive, thought provoking work. I have great experience, as well as being a fast-paced, honest and determined designer!
