About me
I like pictures. And colours. And typefaces. And printmaking. And colours again.
But that's probably not enough to get me a job working for you so here's the boring wordy bit...
Feeling short-changed by the small range of techniques I was developing at university (for the audacious price), I made the bold choice to drop out at the end of first year and start my own business. Fast forward one year, 'CameronEmussDesign' services several regular clients, as well as a wealth of one-time commissions; it generates enough income to support me financially and has allowed me to learn the ropes at the same time.
Getting to this position has not been easy - learning how to find clients, to invoice, to create a website, to build a brand, to deal with late payments and to manage my workload across several design jobs - I had to teach myself all of this, working into the early hours of the morning for months to get things off the ground.
I believe that there is immense wealth in not only the design skills I have developed throughout this process, but also the self-discipline traits I have had to learn, rendering me more than ready for the next step in this process; finding a permanent, full-time position as a graphic designer.
