Ausify Your Algo is a national intervention designed to subvert the algorithms shaping culture. Less than 8% of the music Aussies stream is Australian, as algorithms favour scale from larger markets like the US. This means local culture is quietly disappearing from our own backyard.

Rather than fighting the algorithm from the outside, we weaponised it from within. Calling on Australians to #Ausify their algorithms, we spot-lit the A–Z of Aussie music a letter a day and encouraged people to search, stream and share their discoveries on-platform, retraining the system through collective action.
