MBC approached me to produce an animation on short notice for the MAC #whatsyourthing Party. The brief was to create a visual display for the DJ booth that would allude to a gamer, and this was set in a retro gaming lounge. After discussion with the client, we went with a custom Space Invaders animation to promote the 4 new makeup styles of the campaign.

This project had an extremely short schedule of 2 days, and took approximately 12 hours to get from zero to something, and another 8 to tweak for timings and animation transitions. Additionally, I source for the CRT screens to display the animations on, and provided on-site support for any issues arising.

Ultimately, it turned out really well, but due to the short notice of the project, we were not able to get a multiple relay system to play each video separately, creating a more random effect. I was very happy with the results, and I think it was amazing to see the work as a centrepiece of the dance floor.
