ABOUT

This project was influenced by the rebellious and challenging psychedelic movement of the 1960's. This project aimed to help me develop into my ideal career path and looking at this time where definition was being redefined inspired me. I really enjoyed the look and music of Jimi Hendrix who heavily inspired the character I wished to portray in my final few portraits who I called Rowdy Rousseau. The reason why the focus is on portraits was because my tutor ran classes on portrait painting in both digital and practical mediums so I used those lessons learned in that project to help develop the final pieces. I hope you enjoy the imagery here as much as I enjoyed making it.
