We stumbled across John Ellis, one of the oldest fish merchants still working at North Tyneside Quay, and shared his story the best way we knew how. As cinematographer, it was through my camera skills and motion know-how that this project was envisioned. Forming a close bond with him throughout helped in discussing what we wanted to do and attaining shots that both of us liked.
