To whom it may concern,

I would like to apply for the position as a Project Manager, and attach my Curriculum Vitae for your perusal.

You will note from my Curriculum Vitae that I have recently graduated from the University of Liverpool and have since been employed by Proctor and Gamble on a ten week summer internship. I am acutely aware of the importance of successful project management as an essential thread across an organisation and I feel compelled to pursue a career .

I have always been passionate about engaging groups of people in activities and, in turn, striving for combined and individual success. I thrive when in a position to motive and involve many different individuals towards a specific goal and I have been fortunate enough to develop these qualities during several chapters of my life. Most notably, as the coxswain for a rowing 8 when I found that I was able to strive for excellence and thoroughly enjoyed sharing and encouraging the passion for success with others.

I have been fortunate to experience living in several global locations, The United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Asia and the Middle East as well as extensive touring as part of individual and family holidays. Subsequently I enjoy a wide and diverse network of friends and interests and have the ability to know that I am comfortable in my situation and am not afraid to throw my-self in 'at the deep end'. I believe that these qualities, will determine success in the area of project management.

With a proven work ethic I am keen move into the area of Project Management as soon as possible and would be free for employment from the 10th of September (this is the end date of my internship). I could, however, attend an interview at any time and date convenient to you.
