Our magnetic identity for Monte Rosso Estate - the new fine wine from Gallo Luxury Group.
High in the Mayacamas Mountains above Sonoma Valley sits the legendary Monte Rosso Vineyard - the crown jewel of the Moon Mountain district and home to some of the oldest producing vines in California.
Together with Estate Director Diego del Pino and his team, we set out to create a brand identity and packaging system that unites the site’s 140 year legacy with a refined, terroir driven vision.
Our focus: the soil.
Often overlooked. Yet the defining feature of Monte Rosso.
Deep. Iron-rich. Vivid red — shaping the vineyard’s distinctive terroir and the vibrant character of its wines.
But iron is more than what lies beneath the vines. It’s part of the force that pulls all things together.
Magnetism.
From that universal truth came a brand designed to draw fine wine lovers in from around the world:
Iron-rich red anchors the identity. A distinctive single-label format, inspired by the original winery door - creates a bottle that is elegant, elevated and unmistakable. Subtle texture echoes the rugged beauty of the landscape, whilst our brand book & website read like a love letter to Monte Rosso.
