Ford Pro is the no. 1 seller of commercial vehicles in the UK and has long been the go-to brand for tradespeople. Through listening to Ford’s customers, we know that small businesses and sole traders are facing challenges every day, which directly damage their businesses, their bank balances and ultimately their livelihoods.

UK tradespeople face daily struggles with unpaid invoices, with an average of £4,000 owed as of December 2024. To shine a light on this issue, Ford launched The Little Debt Collectors, a heartfelt campaign bringing these challenges to life through the voices of those most affected – tradespeople and their families.

The campaign’s stars, twin children of a hardworking plumber and interior designer, became pint-sized “debt collectors”, using their cheeky charm to demand overdue payments.

Aligned with Ford’s mission to position the Transit as the Backbone of Britain, the campaign showcased Ford’s commitment to supporting UK small business owners. It secured 24 pieces of traditional media coverage, reaching over 11 million people, with features in The Sun, ITV News, and Fix Radio. The campaign not only highlighted a sensitive issue with creativity but also fostered meaningful conversations, extending Ford’s impact far beyond expectations.
