ABOUT
The creative idea of the film was to show a Whopper decomposing over time in order to highlight Burger King’s commitment to removing artificial preservatives. Since the concept is built entirely around the passage of time, music played an important role in supporting the narrative.
Music research was a key part of the process, focusing on identifying a track that would conceptually reinforce the idea of time passing. Through this process, the song What a Difference a Day Makes was identified as the perfect fit for the end of the film, as the lyrics directly mirror the visual idea that each day visibly changes the burger.
Music supervision ensured the integration and licensing of the track within the campaign. In addition, the project included music editing as well as the composition of an additional track to complete the film.
The result is a strong conceptual relationship between music and image: the song underscores the unexpected beauty of the decomposing burger and reinforces the idea of transformation over time, becoming a key emotional driver of the film. The additional composition in the final part rounds out the narrative and completes the film musically, creating a cohesive ending to the piece.
