Manchester has the following existing, commencing and potential new routes with significant growing passenger numbers.
Marketing Manchester and Visit Britain have been working with Hainan Airlines to secure a direct route out of mainland China into Manchester, the gateway to the north of England.
Combining a multi-channel promotional campaign,travel trade engagement and familiarisation trips; press engagement and a launch event, the activity will raise awareness of the direct route, promoting Manchester as a gateway to England to generate ticket sales.
The solution:
I designed WeChat microsite to engage users in activities and promote sharing thru the Moments feed/KOL. The WeChat microsite used touch, gestures on smart phones to educate consumers on new products and campaigns, combining QR Codes with interactive maps boost traffic and sharing from brand location.
