The Seismograph des Zeitgeists then produced music again and devoted himself increasingly to his original passion, photography. But when the devastating Haiti earthquake struck the disaster in 2010, he remembered his activist days in the late 80s: he founded an aid organization and invested in local orphanages. The murder of an aid worker abruptly ended work in Haiti in 2012. The drama was a turning point. Stettler began to study meditation in addition to art, especially Indian Vipassana meditation. "I experienced a completely new clarity in my consciousness, a cosmic energy that filled me," says Stettler.
