“A Tale of Two Lakes” explored the unexpected biodiversity found at two man-made lakes in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The project aimed to highlight how these locations have become important habitats for migratory birds and local wildlife, transforming perceptions of the surrounding landscape.

Using cinematic documentary techniques, the film captured the contrast between the desert environment and the calm, thriving ecosystems around the lakes. The film combined wildlife cinematography captured onsite with stylistic animation, and natural sound design to create an immersive and visually driven story.

The project helped communicate environmental and sustainability initiatives in a more engaging and human way. Featured across editorial and digital platforms, the film brought attention to the ecological importance of the Dhahran lakes.
