We were tasked with coming up with a website redesign
for Liberty Mutual’s Innovation lab: Solaria. The goal
was to make it feel young and fresh, while still having it
have some sort of visual tie back to Liberty Mutual. The
trick was to market the independence of an innovation
lab while also station that it is tied to a Fortune 100
company, so it will be around longer than six months.
There was a lot of back and forth and deliberation,
starting originally with the design to the right and
ending with the design on the next page. You can see
