This has been a brutal week on top of an already tough year. I’m angry that we are still dealing with these murders. I’m proud of those who are willing to put their health at risk to protest. And I’m scared that we are going to find ourselves in the same situation in another few months. It has really put things into perspective in regards to how we would like to operate as a new business.
We’ve been donating to the NHS and Black Lives Matter, but this opportunity is bigger than that. Do we want to earn enough money to help these institutions financially? Or can we use our work to help the cause? We believe the answer is both.
On top of the heart-breaking events of the past week, we are in the middle of a pandemic that has drastically affected the media industry. Talented musicians and video producer are out of work, and yet it seems like we're watching the same ads over and over again — found-footage and pre-recorded music, then we lose interest. We tend to become side-tracked when important issues aren’t directly in front of us, but we can’t lose focus of this movement. This is where we believe that audio branding and advertising can make a difference.
The unique album we've created has been designed to help media organizations stand out in this moment, and gave us an opportunity to hire session musicians across the U.S. and U.K. who haven’t been able to work during their isolation. Additionally, we are donating a portion of the proceeds to organisations helping in the current climate.
The track below is free and available for any content that is promoting accurate coverage of Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement. We will be releasing a full album entitled “Anthems For Heroes”, and would love to connect with you more on how we can help.
