Dear Employer,

As you can see from my attached CV, I have quite a handful of experience working with communications, marketing, events and media both through television, radio, social media, and newspapers. I have curated stories and ideas and written for my Universities and local community.

In my years of studying Broadcast journalism and International and Online Journalism I have developed skills as a freelance writer to research content and materials to produce well written pieces to share information through many styles and on several different digital media platforms. My education and previous internships in broadcasting have prepared me to learn quickly, manage my time, and thrive under the pressure of a fast-paced environment.

Having a leadership role on my collegiate basketball and volleyball teams, I also possess the interpersonal and teamwork skills to interact successfully with a wide variety of individuals. I have great communication skills and proficient with computers, technology and social media. Along with my enthusiasm and dedication for media and news I am a quick learner, work well in large or small teams, and have a healthy competitive spirit.

I know the job entails many qualifications and responsibilities that I believe I obtain, such as the ability to work hard under pressure, attend to details, and organizational skills. I have experience in maintaining and producing content through different media outlets.

I am confident that with my knowledge of digital media, video editing, social media, and great oral and written communication skills I can be a great asset and learn more even more by working with this company.
