About me

Brendan is UM's Global Chief Content Officer and has been Head of UM Studios since 2007. In his current role, Brendan is focused on building custom, story-led campaigns for UM clients and developing the content practice around the world. His most recent project, the documentary film 5B, tells the inspirational story of everyday heroes who took extraordinary action to comfort, protect and care for the patients of the first AIDS ward unit in the United States. Brendan produced the film, which was commissioned by Johnson & Johnson and presented by RYOT, a Verizon Media company. 5B premiered globally at the Cannes Film Festival and in the U.S. in a special screening at LA Pride. The film is available for streaming on Amazon and other platforms.

Brendan has been on the jury for Brand Film Festival New York, is on the steering committee for BrandStorytelling at Sundance, and he is part of the Google Assembly. His other notable projects include Clean & Clear's "See The Real Me" campaign, which was recognized by The New York Times, Huffington Post and PerezHilton, and the creative partnership between the United States Postal Service and SONY Pictures ahead of the release of Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Prior to joining UM, Brendan worked as a Creative Director at McCann-Erickson dedicated to Johnson & Johnson. Some of his notable work includes: ACUVUE- 1 DAY "Starts Today," ONE TOUCH- "The Global Diabetes Handprint," JOHNSON'S BABY- "Treasuring Everyday Joy" and CHILDREN'S MOTRIN- "Unstoppable Moms."
