The Cortex Automator Software allows clients from all types of industry, including Vodafone and the Scottish government, to set up automated processes that can be managed by people with limited knowledge of technical development and code. My brief was to unify their existing icon sets in a visual way that not only made elements more consistent across different processes, but also create a series of symbols to represent different actions taken by the program. I have included several different views of the icons because they are a complex system of many parts. My biggest challenge as a designer was coming up with a modern visual theme that could be scaled from 500p/500px to 50/50px, and in some sets 16/16px.
