Concept
Telecomms World provide business phone numbers and telecoms packages to organisations across the UK. Over years of growth, their number estate had spread across four disconnected systems. Updating a record meant jumping between platforms. Errors were hard to avoid. Reporting was unreliable. With more than 400,000 numbers to manage, the team had no single place to see what they were working with, let alone make changes with confidence. The goal was to bring everything under one roof, a single platform that gave the team full visibility and control without starting from scratch on the underlying systems.

Execution
We designed and built a bespoke Laravel platform that consolidated all 400,000 numbers into one searchable, accurate and connected environment. The platform includes a searchable dashboard showing every number and its current settings, tools to update pricing and key business information, and reporting features that give the team a clearer picture of what they are managing at any given time.
Because several existing systems still relied on the underlying data, we could not simply switch everything over at once. We introduced the platform gradually, building a custom API layer to keep all connected systems in sync throughout the transition. The UX and UI were designed specifically around how the in-house team works day to day, keeping the learning curve as low as possible.
We have worked with Telecomms World for over 20 years, and that relationship meant we understood their operations well before a line of code was written. That history shaped every decision, from the data architecture to the rollout approach.

Results
Since launch, the new system has brought clarity and control to what was once a fragmented and time-consuming setup. The team can now search, update and report on 400,000 numbers without switching tools or duplicating effort. Changes that previously required multiple steps across separate platforms now happen in one place. Errors have dropped significantly, reporting is more reliable and the team finally has a clear picture of everything they manage. We continue to maintain and improve the platform as the business grows.
